[She nods, as pacified as she's getting for the moment.]
See you then, then.
[And off she goes.]

[Chris opens the video with a small wave; he doesn't know Tranquility well, but hopefully this call will go over okay.]
Hey uh, Tranquility? Um, I know it's been awhile so I get it if the offer's off the table, but uh... I never cashed in on the prize for when all the god teams competed and we won, and with the whole... Null thing, I've got an idea of what I want.

Cool, awesome. Um, I was thinking like... Any chance you could set something up that alerts me on my phone if anyone gets within like, a certain range of my house? Even better if I can link it up my alert program, so if there's anyone staying at my place or who moves in down the line they can also get the alert.
Okay, yeah, that makes sense. That'd be awesome then; thanks, Tranquility.
[With Hope recovering and Sorrow out of the picture, Nick goes to the next god in line he figures he can ask for a favor. Given Tranquility is the one who brought the mopeds to town, he might be the safest bet.]
Can you replace a broken communicator?
Can you replace a broken communicator?
Rey's. She's been without one for a while now, and I figured I'd see what I could do to get her another.

[Prussia has a problem. Last time he was resurrected, it was while Hope was injured, and was pretty close in time to another time he'd died. Since he'd come back, he's only been able to communicate in is native language of German, despite the fact that he spoke many languages back home. It's seemed to have bypassed the natural translation going on in Hadriel, both in spoken and written form. Since it's easier for him to fix this than to get everyone here to learn German for his sake, it's time to swallow his considerable pride, and ask for help.
So, he turns to Tranquility, because he thinks whatever he might have to do to fix this, he'd probably make it the easiest on Prussia. Laziness wins again!
Now the tough part - communicating what he needs. Might as well try the simplest way for now. Maybe the gods can still understand him?]
Können Sie mich verstehen? (Can you understand me?)

I don't expect she will, either.
[Certainly not when she's the one who destroyed her phone in the first place, and she's spent most of the last month lying in the floor of her bedroom in a depressed heap.]

[A long-suffering sigh.]
Look, she's had it rough since the invasion. She's... She's family to me, but there's not much I can do other than try and help her get back on her feet. I know her better than you do, and she's gonna want that phone back eventually. I'd rather she not have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it when she's still trying to put herself back together.

[Exactly what Prussia thought! But something got scrambled with his translation, and he's very happy he doesn't have to explain himself through pictograms and charades with Tranquility.]
Oh, good, good! because most other people cannot right now. Not unless they speak my native tongue. This has been a problem since the last time I was, ah, brought back. [He really hates admitting he's died. And multiple times, too. But he hopes Tranquility will get the hint that this is a mistake made from too many resurrections.]
I was hoping maybe you could help me with this problem.

Nothing's a waste when it comes to taking care of your family.
[Not unless you stab them all in the back by selling them out to a bunch of unfeeling machines, but that's not exactly what Nick would call 'taking care' of them.]
